Ingredients :
- 350 grams of mackerel fish, mashed
- 3 tablespoons of sago flour
- 3 tablespoons red onion, chopped and sauteed
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of chopped chives
- 3 pieces of big tofu, each cut into 4 pieces
Ingredients for flour dough :
- 100 grams of wheat flour
- 1 egg
- 150 milliliters of water
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 baking powder
- Cooking oil
Complement :
- The peanut sauce
- Lime
- Sweet soy sauce
- Chilli sauce
How to cook Fish Tofu with Peanut Sauce :
1. Mackerel fish that has been mashed mixed with sago flour, sauteed onions, eggs, sugar, salt, pepper, and mix evenly. Add the chopped leeks and stir well.
2. Tofu smeared with fish dough, then steamed for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool.
3. Flour dough: Mix all ingredients together, flour, eggs, water, baking powder and salt, and mix evenly.
4. Heat oil, dip the tofu into the flour dough, and fry until cooked and yellow brown, remove from heat.
5. Serve with peanut sauce, lemon juice, soy sauce, and chili sauce.
