Ingredients :
- 300 grams of mackerel fish fillets, mashed
- 100 grams of potatoes, steamed, mashed
- 1 teaspoon of curry seasonings
- 1 ½ tablespoons of fish ketchup
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 10 sheets of lime leaves, finely sliced
- ½ bundles of chives, sliced
- Oil for frying
Seasonings, mashed :
- 75 grams of onion
- 2 cm ginger
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 stalks of lemongrass, white part
- 1 red chillies
Chili sauce (simmer until thick) :
- 2 pieces of red chilli, mashed
- 2 tablespoons of fish ketchup
- 50 milliliters of boiled water
- 3 tablespoons of lime juice
- 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar
- 3 pieces of red cayenne pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red onions, thinly sliced
- 1 stalk of lemongrass, white part, thinly sliced
How to cook Fish frikadel with chilli sauce :
1. Mixed: fish, potatoes, ground spices, curry seasonings, fish ketchup, and salt, and mix evenly. Add lime leaves and chives, then stir well.
2. Take 1 tablespoon full of dough, formed be flat round with a diameter of 3 cm. Keep doing it until the dough runs out.
3. Fish batter is fried using a lot of cooking oil and heat until lightly browned, then lift and drain. Serve warm with chili sauce.
