Cooking Recipes: Soto Padang

Ingredients :
- 250 grams of beef
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 1 liter of water
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 pieces of orange leaves
- 1 stalk of lemongrass, crushed
- 1 leek, sliced

Seasonings, mashed :
- 6 red onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 pieces of red chilli
- 1 grain of cardamom, peeled
- 1 cm ginger
- ½ cm turmeric
- ½ teaspoon of pepper grains
- 2 teaspoons of salt

Complement :
- Potato frikadel
- Red crackers
- Chili pepper red
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, peeled, cut into pieces
- 75 grams of rice noodles, pour boiling hot water until soft, drain
- 1 stalk celery, finely sliced
- 2 tablespoons fried shallots

How to cook Soto Padang :
1. Boil beef with salt until soft. Drain meats.
2. Meat thinly sliced crosswise, crushed until slightly flattened.
3. Set aside as much as 1 liter of broth.
4. Fry until brown and dry. Drain.
5. Shredded with a small size. Set aside.
6. Saute ground spices with lime leaves, lemon grass and green onion until fragrant.
7. Put it in the broth. Simmer.

How to serve Soto Padang :
1. Put the rice noodles, eggs, frikadel and meat in a serving bowl.
2. Pour the hot broth.
3. Sprinkle red onion, celery and crackers.
4. Serve in a state still hot.

For 6 servings.
