Ingredients :
- 250 grams of margarine
- 100 grams of sugar
- 100 grams of brown sugar
- 8 egg yolks
- 250 grams of wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of seasoning spekuk
- 100 milliliters of liquid milk
- 5 pieces of banana, mashed
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 8 egg whites, beaten stiff
Garnish :
- Powdered sugar and fresh strawberries
How to cook Banana cake :
1. Preheat oven to 180°C, prepare a pan-shaped ring that size 22 cm, spread with margarine and sprinkled with a little flour, set aside.
2. Mashed bananas, add the lemon juice and stir quickly so as not to change the color.
3. Whipped butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy and soft. Enter the egg yolks one at a time while continuing whipped until fluffy.
4. Enter the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and seasoning spekuk and stir well. Add bananas that have been mashed, put egg whites that have been whipped stiff, stir and pour into the pan.
5. Bake for 45 minutes until cooked, lift.
6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorated with fresh strawberries, cut according to taste.
7. Serve with tea or coffee.
